See recent press release:
- The Amacore Group, Inc. Jay Shafer, President or Investor Relations: Porter, LeVay & Rose, Inc. Linda Decker, VP - Investor Relations Bill Gordon, SVP - Media Relations 212-564-4700 The Amacore Group, Inc., (OTC BB: ACGI), a leader in providing health-related membership benefit programs, insurance programs, and other innovative and high-quality solutions to individuals, families and employer groups nationwide, today
announced that it has hired Mark Jarvis as a Senior Vice President of Amacore
heading up its newly created sales and marketing subsidiary, Zurvita, as its president.
Jarvis, aged 48, a multi-level marketing professional, spent the last 14 years with AmeriPlan(R), a privately owned multi-level marketing company. As a non exclusive independent sales professional, Jarvis’s personal downline accounted for over $40 million in sales in 2007.
Jarvis said, “I am very excited to be joining Amacore’s exceptional management team and I am eager to help build Zurvita into a world-class operation. I believe Amacore has incredible growth potential. This is the really exciting part for me because, like a lot of people in my field, I have had a number of attractive offers, but Amacore’s is by far and away the best option for me and my family. I think the Company is fantastic and its products and programs are great. The Company’s product line for medical care is exactly what this country needs to address the healthcare crisis. We are blessed in America with the best medical technology and infrastructure, as well as highly trained professionals, but we need to make the whole package affordable, and one size doesn’t fit all.
“As a sales professional, I was drawn to Amacore because of its wide choice of programs and the widest range of healthcare products in America. Amacore’s ability to design programs to suit various market needs, makes closing a sale much easier. My downline will have greater sales opportunities because of Amacore’s ability to tailor products to customers’ needs.”
Jay Shafer, President of the Amacore Group, said, “Mark brings years of experience in the distribution of medical plans to the table, and his enthusiasm for Amacore’s products and potential is unbridled. He is simply one of the best salesmen I’ve ever encountered, proven by his sales successes over the last 14 years. Mark is a world-class talent in motivating and encouraging salespeople. He is quite well-known in the field, and we are thrilled that, from all the professional options he had, he chose Amacore.”

Jarvis to Head up Zurvita, Amacore’s Wholly Owned and Newly
Created Sales and Marketing Subsidiary

zurvita uses cashbacksaver.com for its discounts, but it is displayed as zurvitacashback.com on the zurvita.com site. cashbacksavers.com is FREE for employers to sign up and give away FREE to employees or anyone for these 600+ retailers that give discounts and cash back and the free financial and tax advice. so that is their virtual mall and discount care. the personal assistant will give you driving directions (mapquest.com) traffic conditions (traffic.com) free unlimited 411 calls (free411.com) research and general questions (wikipedia.com) product and price comparisons ( bizrate.com or pricegrabber.com) and the list continues. by the way, the cash back is like 60 cents when you buy something. and hotwire.com beat the travel packages by 30 to 50 bucks on every one that i compared. so bottom line, mark jarvis is paying zero for product that he is selling for $19.95 a month, except you can call you personal assistant and have them schedule an appointment for you. woo hoo!!! $19.95 a month for and appointment scheduler. is that a bargain or what. geez louise what a complete scam.
if you want to work for a real nationwide company with real people and real success, email me and join me with ameriplan. mark jarvis made over a million with them and you can make money with them as well. beware of new hype companies, and take care. qt
I think if you are going to state some facts then you should do your research. Ameriplan’s Dennis and Daniel been around for almost 14 years and in that time they have not thought of introducing a bonus system for the hard work that its IBOs were doing. Most network marketing company employs some type of bonus structure. As a former Ameriplan IBO I spent two years which they guarantee if you follow their system you will be free from work. Well I paid my $50 dues every month just to see a residual check of $40 every other month.
Yes I left Ameriplan to join Zurvita. Let me explain why. Being a seasoned Network Marketer I realize that bonuses keep your business afloat when just starting out. And if I train someone to do what I do, then I should profit on the people that they recruit (because more than likely I will be training them as well) Zurvita pays you $100 or more (up to $225) to infinity on this - what does Ameriplan pay?.
Let’s get real most people join network marketing not for the products but for the money and free time they could earn. It is the system that works and if the system is not set up properly then you are more than likely not going to succeed. Zurvita has forced Dennis and Daniel to get off their high horses and spead some of the wealth they’ve been earning for son long by implementing a new program that allows the IBOs to earn bonuses. But even then you have to pay $400 to upgrade to a trainer position and the bonuses you earn is not yours because they are advanced payouts on the customers you attain. What happens when a customer stops paying-that’s right that advance bonus will be deducted from your account. So don’t be fooled by the bonus system they implemented. With Zurvita once you receive your bonus it is yours to keep. If I was going to compare apples to apples and oranges to oranges, then Ameriplan is not offering the lowest price for their busines or product. If I wanted to market a dental product then I would look at OCA (needreps.com)which offers more for your business.
So please, before you bash Zurvita or any other business take notice of what is going on around you.
It cost $329 to join Zurvita and no monthly payments….It cost $90 plus $50 per month to join Ameriplan. That’s $600 with no real bonus structure.
Email me or visit paymefirst.biz for the real deal on how to make money from home.

No offense Darryl but if you spent 2 years with Ameriplan and only made $40 every other month, you did nothing to promote the program! Come on, do you know how bad that statement reflects on you?! I’m willing to bet you’ll be bashing Zurvita before it’s all over with…seen too many people like you in Network Marketing, you want to make the big bucks but don’t want to put forth the effort to earn them. You can be successful with almost any MLM if you are willing to work hard and be patient….Candles, Vitamins, Health Benefits…just takes the know how and sweat to build a team and do it the right way. Mark Jarvis knows this, that’s why he earned what he did with Ameriplan. He’s doing the same thing, just building another team. By the way, he didn’t walk away from his money, from what I’ve heard and read he’s filed a suit to get his residuals. Also heard he’s the new VP for Amacore with a pretty hefty salary…he’s no dummy and this is not his first rodeo…nobody WALKS away from over a million dollars.
Start up companies fail in there first couple years at the rate of 97%. If they don’t have a product or honest leadership probably sooner. Ameriplan is an established 15 plus year company with many of us earning well over 100 k a year.We are going to have our best year ever and if you want to work with real “humble leaders” people who build a future based on hard work, ethics, and really care about others I will show you the way.”And I will never abandon and or sell you out. I believe there is room for all of us to reach our goals regardless of what company we choose. Work with the best “Ameriplan is the best company on earth”
Chuck Nicholson
Before you join any home business you should find out who you are really dealing with.
We will not join the fracas that so many others have created. Zurvita is already successful and we personally made almost $10,000 in our first month in Zurvita.
If any of the things that have been said about Zurvita were actually true we wouldn’t be in business.
Here’s an idea, work your business and we will work ours. Trashing Zurvita only makes it more difficult for people to believe in our industry and if you’ve ever had any success in the industry you would know that.
We hope AmeriPlan IBO’s do well. Why isn’t it possible for you to want success for us?
Our internet marketing system works and if you want to join leaders who have been successful in this industry feel free to communicate with us anytime.

Proud Zurvita Representative
Scott,
Not trying to bash Zurvita…wish you all the best of luck in the world…As I said before, if you truly work any MLM, believe in it and work consistent for a few years, you will make money.
I’m just saying, I’ve looked at Zurvita and see no real way it will stick around. There’s no real product or value there. TJ
Not trying to bash Zurvita or Ameriplan, but if your looking for a MLM business that pays its associates what they deserve and has a product thats tangible take a look at Ignite. http://www.bankonenergy.com Clint
I agree looks interesting . Ignite plan is simple very simular however only 19.95 not 40.00 I am trying to understand why so much.
MLM is the way to go what ever you choose.

I first want to say that I was in Mark downline and I want to wish him and every other broker that was in Ameriplan success in Zurvita. I feel that if it was not for Mark and Zurvita, Ameriplan would not have made the drastic changes to their front end comp plan, which has given the business more punch than ever before. I would have agreed that zurvita comp plan was the best in the Industry and still one of the best, but Ameriplans comp plan just adds to much muscle to a comp plan that already made fortunes for a lot of the people that are now in Zurvita right now. That’s one thing that no one will argue with me about. So once again I wish everyone success and good Luck.

I was very successful with AmeriPlan but i got tired of Dennis and Daniel Bloom making changes, making things harder for IBO’s, and not caring about the IBO’s that worked very hard so that Dennis and Daniel Bloom can take their money if they did not work for a mont or two. AmeriPlan was great but the not anymore. Especially also since their medical plan does not work as well as it says to be. i had a lot of angry people with that plan after i sold it to more tha 100 members, i experienced a lot of complaints, especially when you explain to them as what the medical manual teaches you. I dont see AmeriPlan surviving in the next 5 years. Competition and saturation is going to wipe AmeriPlan away. I am very confident that Mark Jarvis vision, passion, beliefe, goals and dreams is going to take Zurvita to huge heights. Also, make sure you know what you say because the care saver is not free and also, Zurvita has many products that are being sold now and plenty to come. If you do not get in Zurvita now, you are going to miss on a huge opportunity.
I was an Executive Sales Director with AmeriPlan which i worked very hard to get there. I do have to agree that AmeriPlan in the last 2 to 3 years has changed a lot and in my opinion, for the worst. I saw Zurvita, and i immediately jumped into the opportunity. To find out immediately that AmeriPlan cancelled me because i joined Zurvita. That really shows how immature AmeriPlan is. Wal-Mart does not close the doors to people that went grocery shopping at publix. AmeriPlan is a Corporation and needs to learn how to accept risk, challenge, and competition. I lost respect for AmeriPlan and i am so glad i am with Zurvita. i made a lot of money in only a couple of days which it would take you a long time to earn with AmeriPlan. Ameriplan did have an awesome program before but they took it away, its hard to build the AmeriPlan business now, and i do agree that AmeriPlan, with its competition with health insurance and other companies, may not survive for very long.

TJ no offense taken. Obviously you took me for some newbie to network marketing. I’ve been in the game for more than 10 years and have made lucrative income with good companies such as ACN,where I reached field coordinator in less than 4 months, Shacklee and Amway . It is my experience that led me to my decision, that Ameriplan is not looking out for their reps. Why should I have to pay a monthly fee to be in business with a company and then also have to use their product/service…on top of that, I am not getting any type of bonuses, which is where the real money is at in network marketing. So TJ don’t believe all the hype… with any network marketing business not only should you benefit on success but so should your downline and Zurvita allows this type of opportunity. Recently Ameriplan changed their compensation plan to combat the onslaught of losing their reps to Zurvita. Why is it that they couldn’t have changed the comp plan a long time ago to the coded bonus. It is not like they weren’t aware of this system. Besides, now they want you to invest more money to upgrade your position. This is crazy haven’t they made enough money off of the reps.Good luck to you and Ameriplan, I have no regrets. Just want more out of my business.
So does anyone know why Mark Jarvis left
Ameriplan?
It seems like Zurvita is just a way for MJ
to be at the top (again) of another MLM that
presents itself with a lot of HYPE, HYPE, HYPE.
This is why MLM’s get a bad rap.
Yes, you can make money in MLM.
But the fact is over 95% won’t.
People who are good at selling will
and those who can recruit others who
are good sellers.
And most MLM’s are just about recuiting
with the product or service just a front
to make it legal.
This is the main criticism of MLM.
Not simply bashing it.
Anyway, would like to hear the full details
on Mark leaving AP and what you think his
motive for gettin into Zurvita is? just money? LOL
MJ did very well for himself in Ameriplan but
I doubt Zurvita will go anywhere.
The comments in this thread began with a bashing of Zurvita… not that many people all bashing us anymore now that Zurvita signed a contract with MX Energy which happens to be the largest independent provider of electricity and natural gas in North America!
There has never been a product in MLM history with the appeal of energy and although Ignite and Ambit have done a good job there is no way they will be able to compete with Zurvita.
Sadly anybody can say anything on the internet, whether it is true or not, but this fact is perfectly clear, business people are more interested in energy than any other MLM opportunity.
Everybody pays for energy every month!

You need to join Zurvita now. Its amazing how people from Ignite and Ambit are moving their entire teams to Zurvita. That is crazy, especially when i heard about a top producer with Ignite brining more than 8000 people in his team to join Zurvita.
Zurvita is launching the De-regulation of natural gas and electrcity on 08/08/08 and its going to launch in 5 states and hopfully be within 22 states in months to come.
You need to visit: http://www.zurvitafriends.com
Dont wait, join immediately, this is going to take off fast.
I amso glad to be with Zurvita.
This forum seems to need a little lightning up. All network marketing companies are good. Usually the weekest link is the distributor. I read in this forum that one person only made $40 bucks a month with their home based business. I used to know exactly how that felt.
The problem is that you never learned the secret to this business. If you take the time to learn how to become a better marketer your business will be more profitable. It’s not your fault if you failed in the past, it’s just that nobody took the time to show you how the real money was being generated. I created 10 day marketing boot camp that I give away for free.
I know how it feels to join a business with no leadership or duplicatable system to follow. So don’t delay go over to my website now and register. But dont be a spectator when you get there, be someone who takes massive action.
To Your Success,
Naeem
I am amazed at all the things that are writen in this forum. You guys are talking about comp plans and bashing each other.
I used to be with Ameriplan and iwould attend the meetings over on Westheimer. This is where I meet Mark and Tracy Jarvis. Scott Miller you gave me the training that I had to pay for to be able to approach companies with the discount plan.
My suggestion is to watch the company for awhile and see what it does. Most companies are good and yes I do agree that with any company there are people that make the big money and people that complain and do not make money. What is the difference between the two? It is not the company it is the belief and the drive of the person.
I think we should be more concerned with how to help people be healthier and stay away from doctors instead of giving them a discount plan to see them.
When I say wtch a company, that is what I did with the company that I am with. We have broke all existing records in business in either conventional or direct marketing. The bottom line is I have never been able to help so many physically and financially as i am now.
Good luck to everyone
Robert Spacey:”Zurvita uses cashbacksaver.com for its discounts, but it is displayed as zurvitacashback.com on the zurvita.com site. cashbacksavers.com is FREE for employers to sign up and give away FREE to employees or anyone for these 600+ retailers that give discounts and cash back and the free financial and tax advice. so that is their virtual mall and discount care. so bottom line, mark jarvis is paying zero for product that he is selling for $19.95 a month, except you can call you personal assistant and have them schedule an appointment for you. woo hoo!!! $19.95 a month for and appointment scheduler.” That is a scam, and a smart one!!! It’s all about information, if people willing to buy it, then so be it.
As a representative for Zurvita, I don’t quite understand why anyone would trash this company. Where have you seen such viable products and the compensation plan. Need I say more. If you want to talk to someone that is sold out for Zurvita, contact me at tuesdaymcdonald@optonline.net.
Mark tried to bring the “win at every level” theme to Ameriplan and was rejected very harshly. This took place starting in 1992 up to the time he left.
It seems to me that if you can’t fullfill your dream in where you are, you need to move to where you can.
What a win, win situation it would have been if D & D had embraced Mark as their Golden Boy and promoted his success as their doings instead of trying to hold him and his dreams down.
